Extending the desktop wallpaper across all monitorsIf your monitors are arranged horizontally in a single row, and the left-most monitor is the primary, you can span a single image across the whole desktop simply by tiling it. Open Display Properties > Desktop, select an image that is as large as your whole desktop, then choose Tile as the display mode. On Windows 98/Me, Active Desktop needs to be enabled for this to work. The UltraMon utility has built-in support for creating multi-monitor desktop wallpapers. See Multi-Monitor Resources for a list of multi-monitor wallpaper sites. |
