Mirroring a monitorWindows itself has no built-in support for mirroring, but dualhead cards and laptop video chipsets usually have a mirroring mode (called clone mode by hardware manufacturers). UltraMon has a very flexible software mirroring feature, with support for running the mirror target display at a different resolution than the source. Please note that the mirroring feature is only available on Windows 2000/XP and later. If you only need mirroring, you can also use a standard single-monitor system with a VGA splitter, a device that takes the video signal from one video card and sends it to multiple monitors. Each monitor has the same display. Here are some vendors: KVMs.com, NTI, National Technology. |
