Tyan Tiger MPX w/ 2 Athlon MP 1.2GHz CPUs. 1GB registered Corsair RAM. 2 AccuSync 90 CRT monitors (only by getting two monitors of the same make & model was I able to prevent interference). PC Power & Cooling 425W PSU. Seagate 400GB hard drive, plus Maxtor hard drive, both IDEs. Plus sometimes have another IDE HDD connected via USB2 adapter.
Card 1:
AGP Matrox G450
dual port, but using only one port. In my experience, I was unable to achieve the desired resolution & color level & refresh rate on both monitors when I connected both monitors to this single card. The resolution = 1024x796; color = 32bit, though 24bit would be fine too; refresh rate = 85 (anything less is unacceptable to me).
Card 2:
PCI 3dfx Voodoo3 3000, 3dfx Voodoo3 chipset
Single port card, used for my other AccuSync 90. With 2 cards, I get the desired resolution, color, and refresh rate settings.

I encountered a problem when I added the 3rd video card: Windows told me the driver was "for an older version and is no longer supported" even though the device was listed as OK in Device Mgr. The solution was to remove the ATI Catalyst software (which tries to control ALL graphics cards, not just ATI) and install the DRIVER ONLY for the 9600SE. Once I did that, everything worked fine.
