I have Geforce GTS2 and MX400 running my dual monitor setup in XP. In the motherboard BIOS I have it set to boot off PCI VGA, but have XP set to use the GTS as primary adapter in display settings.

This is the only way I could install the MX400 with any other drivers than XP defaults.

Problem:
When I enable SmartTaskbar, it appears on my GTS monitor, along with my Windows taskbar. If I move it to the other monitor, it still holds applications from the GTS, while the GTS monitor has the taskbar links for apps running on the MX400 screen.

Any suggestions?

To fix this, right-click the UltraMon taskbar and select 'Show Tasks from' from the menu.

You may want to close the Smart Taskbar after changing the settings, sometimes they don't get saved when rebooting.

I have the same problem, when smart taskbar loads with windows, both taskbars appear on my primary and I have to drag one across. If I load smart taskbar manually it works.

Please mail me the registry settings for the Smart Taskbar. To do this:

- start regedit.exe
- select the key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\2.0\Smart Taskbar'
- choose File\Export from the menu and send me the resulting .reg file to support@realtimesoft.com

Please include your display configuration in the mail, you can copy it from UltraMon's About dialog (UltraMon menu > About).
