Hi,
A friend recommended this application to me when I was complaining about not being able to have a stretched wallpaper across 2 monitors on my ti4600, and so far it's been great. I'd also like to try out the Smart Taskbar feature of this program, but it seems no matter what I try, I can't get it to work. I'm using WinXP Pro with a ti4600 VGA and an AMD Athlon XP CPU, with my secondary monitor to the left of my primary. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
AJC

Hi AJ,
do you have an UltraMon taskbar on the secondary monitor? If not, please post the system information displayed on UltraMon's About dialog (UltraMon menu > About).

Hi Christian,
Thanks for the quick response. Here's the info:
2 monitors Current desktop: 2880x1200 (-1280,0 - 1600,1200)
Monitor 1 - Default Monitor (primary): Settings: 1600x1200, 32-bit color, 75 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: 0,0 - 1600,1200. Workspace: 1,0 - 1600,1200 Video card: NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600 Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0
Monitor 2 - Default Monitor: Settings: 1280x1024, 32-bit color, 75 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: -1280,176 - 0,1200. Workspace: -1191,176 - 0,1200 Video card: NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600 Device: \\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0
My first thought was that the unmatched resolutions may be the cause of my problem (in which case I'd just have to put up with it until I can afford another 19"), but matching the resolutions didn't resolve the problem either (even after a restart), and I'd prefer to get it working with the unmatched for now, as it may be a few weeks before I can get my other 19".
Cheers,
AJC

The monitors don't need to have the same resolution, should work fine with your configuration.
I have e-mailed you a registry script that creates a default configuration with an UltraMon taskbar on monitor 2. Let me know if it still doesn't work after running the registry script.

Hi Christian, Could you forward me the Reg file? I'm having the same problem. Thanks

The problem was a compatibility issue with TrayServer.exe, a component of DesktopX. Disabling TrayServer.exe fixed the problem.
The compatibility issue has been resolved, the fix will be included in the next release (RC1).
