I'm wondering if anyone knows how to get DVDs/DivX playing on dual screens or more to get one big picture, I have 2 19" LCDS, a GeForce Ti4600, and a heck of a lot of monitor cables. I know UltraMon can make a big wallpaper. But is there a way to make a big video?

Not sure if this will work, but you could try using stretched (or spanned) desktop mode (Windows recognizes only a single large monitor instead of two).

Is the spanned mode you are refering to part of UltraMon, is so, where do I find it?

No, that's a feature of the Nvidia drivers. Don't know how you would enable it, I don't have a dualhead card myself.

I finally found out how to enable the screen spanning. The instructions are on available in this nvidia desktop guide (http://download.nvidia.com/windows/28.32/nViewDesktopManagerGuide_2832.pdf).
Thanks for all the help. Now I can play DVDs/DivX on both screens. It's bigger than my TV now. = )

BTW UltraMon is amazing, as is this forum.

I have two nvidia cards (a geforce 2 MX and a TNT 2 M64), can i span across both video cards? My geforce2 does have the S-Video and Composite video outputs, can i span a tv and my LCD on the geforce 2 and then have my TNT as a normal 2nd monitor? spanks a million

I can't say where it is in the PDF, but to span your desktop across two monitors is pretty simple:
go to display properties...settings, advanced button. From there, nView tab (to my knowledge, this will only appear if you are currently do not have 'extend my desktop onto this monitor' checked for your 2nd monitor) and check the horizontal span radio button and hit OK. Built in windows dual monitor (in windows XP, that is) stuff doesn't jive with nView at the same time.

Im more concerned with spanning a dvd movie over both screens. I cant get that to work.

I cant drag a DVD movie to my tv screen (and have a picture show) unless my monitor refresh rate matches the tv refresh rate (60Hz here)....perhaps the monitors have to have the same refresh rate too?

Use the application that resides in the Windows\System32 Folder, named: mplay32.exe

For some reason I can maximise to desktop and keep my overlay on both monitors.

I have 2 GeForce 2 MX's and notice no problems with DivX.. it doesn't do vobs or xVid though.

Hello, I have tried mplay32.exe, but how did you remove the taskbar and the upper bar, watch movies with black is not good with colored bar
