For Christian, or anyone who may know: I have the 8500DV as primary and a Matrox Mystique as secondary. And the TV out of the 8500DV as the third monitor as well :)
Of course, I am running Ultramon. I have also installed the latest drivers from ATI. (Catalyst 6094).
My question is about Hydravision, for which they have also released new drivers. I haven't really looked at it, mainly because I am afraid to mix it with Ultramon for fear of some kind of bad conflict. What does Hydravision do, or not do, in comprison to Ultramon? Is there any reason to even bother with it?
And, if I do want to look at it, would it peacefully coexist with Ultramon?
Thanks for the help.

Hi Jim,
I have used Appian's version of HydraVision together with UltraMon some time ago, seemed to work fine. Even if you do experience problems, simply disabling HydraVision should fix them.
If you want to use both UltraMon and HydraVision custom window buttons, go to UltraMon Options > Window Title Bar and adjust the button spacing.
One HydraVision feature that UltraMon doesn't have is the virtual desktop manager.
