We upgraded our teacher station with two (2) Verto NVidia 64mb Graphics cards. After failing to get the multimedia projector to clone at all (all it would do is extend the desktop)with the resident tools that come with NVidia, I installed UltraMon.

I can clone (mirror) my two screens perfectly but cannot get my X-Plane Flight Sim software to even load while the process is running. It will load correctly when I close the mirror process in the task manager.

Is there an Open GL conflict in the drivers? Any other suggestions?

Most likely this happens because UltraMon Mirroring disables DirectDraw hardware acceleration.

The problem is that UltraMon can't mirror 3D applications if hardware acceleration is enabled.

For mirroring 3D and video applications, I would recommend a hardware solution, either a dualhead card or a VGA splitter.
