I am running a monitor and a Tv screen using a tvout graphics card. There are black borders surrounding my desktop on the tv screen itself.....the whole tv screen isnt being used.
I realise I can move the image around....but I need to resize it a bit. Apparently this is a common problem when outputting to a tv screen. (overscanning or somthing)
Was curious if ultramon was going to include a utility with which i can "stretch" the screen this way or that?
As i was posting, I lost my internet, so i reposted, sorry if this appears twice.

There's a separate program for that. TVTool.

Yeah, I realise tvtool can do this.....but I cant get tvtool to run both screens at the same time as my monitor doesnt support the low refresh rate tvtool wants it to run when in 2 screen mode. (I believe tvtool runs both screens at the tv refresh rate)
Tvtool is also not compatible at all with twinview (think its called), so i cant use tvtool to stretch the screen size like I want...and use twinview at the same time to run 2 screens with different refresh rates.
Unfortunatly I seem to be stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment lol.
I cant use tvtool because I cant use 2 screens at the same time using this program with my monitor refresh rate limitations.
I cant get ultramon to stretch my image.
I much prefer ultramon, and was hoping this would be a worthy addition to it.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I'm going to work on another TV-related feature after 2.0 final (ability to switch output device between VGA and TV), and will also check if I can do something about this issue.
Please note that I can't guarantee that I'll find a solution, you might also want to let the TVtool author know about the problem you're experiencing.

No Worries mate, thanks for the reply.
I realise that stretching the image may be hard to implement, as Tvtool (and TvCC) is the only program I have found so far that can actually do this after about 5 hours of searching!
Incidently, I have found references to a file that was included with the 6.* detonator series of drivers which could resize the screen, specifically for outputting to a tv I believe.
The file is called "NVFSVM.EXE" Apparently when you install the 6.* detonators, the file is either located in the temp directory windows used to install them, or in /windows/system32.
I dont believe this program ships with the later detonators at all (i cant find it anyway)...and I cant find anymore information on the file, although I did come across a screenshot of the program at one stage.
Perhaps implementing this program into ultramon might work?
Anyway, congratulations on a brilliant easy to use program, which in my opinion is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition.
