When I first install Ultramon and select Screen Saver - Change from the Taskbar Menu, I get the Ultramon Screen Saver Dialog box (the one with two screens). I select blank on Monitor 1 and 2. It seems to work once and then monitor 2 quits blanking. I try to go into Screensaver - Change and now I only have the standard windows Screen saver dialog (with 1 monitor).

I'm using a Gainward 750 with dual DVI monitors..

DisplayEnum says

\\.\DISPLAY1:NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600 - primary
\\.\DISPLAYV1: UltraMon Display Mirror Driver - disabled, mirror
\\.\DISPLAY2: NVIDIA GeForc4 Ti 4600
\\.\DISPLAYV2: NetMeeting driver - disabled, mirror
\\.\DISPLAYV3: RDPDD Chained DD - disabled, mirror

Thanks

Just use Configure instead of Change to adjust the screen saver configuration, and it should work fine.

Advanced mode can be a bit confusing, here's the idea behind it:

the UltraMon Screen Saver manager is actually a screen saver itself, UltraMon Screen Saver.scr. When it is started, it launches the screen savers you selected.

In Standard mode, Launch and Configure always apply to UltraMon Screen Saver.scr. But in Advanced mode, these commands apply to the currently active screen saver.

The Change command is used to change the currently active screen saver. If you want to use UltraMon to run different screen savers on each monitor, UltraMon Screen Saver should be the active screen saver.

Not sure what the problem could be with the Blank screen saver, works fine on my system. You could also try assigning the Blank screen saver to the primary monitor only (make sure preview mode is unchecked). Blank has native multi-monitor support, so it should also work that way.

Another bug(?) is that the list of available screen savers from the Ultramon Screen saver does not seem to be updated.

I installed the helios screen saver and it is not listed in either drop-down. Tried a reboot and it was still not listed.

Is there a filter on what screen savers can be used from Ultramon?

My bad, seems the "install" option of the screen saver did not copy it to system32...

You can also copy screen savers to the windows directory, UltraMon will list all screen savers from the windows and system directory.

There are moments when general content feels overwhelming because it covers too many unrelated subjects at once. This can make it harder to stay engaged. During a search for something more focused, I found Trending and explored several sections. The platform seems to organize information around a single topic, which changes the overall reading flow. This makes it easier to concentrate on specific details and follow comparisons without needing to constantly adjust to new contexts.
