when I disable monitor 1 (dont extend), I get a BSOD after a few seconds saying that nv4_disp has gone into an infinite loop.
Setup:
AMD Thunderbird 1.33 DDR
XP
Ti4400 with VGA,DVI (DVI-VGA adapter) and TV-Out (no TV connected)
Two 19" Monitors (identical)
NOT running nView (tried with, even more unstable)
It all works OK, as long as I dont have display 2 as the primary (unstable) with 1 not being extended (crash)
Any suggestions? Known problem?

VIA chipset, I presume?
try seachring the VIA FAQs or something for that. some time ago there was lots of talk about infinite loops with GF and VIA.

Wich ver. of Detonators do you use? Have you installed VIA 4-1 pack?

Latest VIA 4 in 1.
Same problem.
As soon as Mon2 is Primary, and 1 is diabled, I get the infinite loop BSOD...
Those discussions on VIA forums seem not to involve multiple monitors and some require dropping FSB to 100. This is unacceptable...
