Here's a feature request (something that can be enabled or disabled)... When the user changes the primary display, the (true) start bar is swapped to the new primary display. True, you can drag it over there manually, and if I'm not mistaken, you've also got a script written for it... maybe you could just make a quick option for it, it'd simplify things quite a bit for the everyday user.
Here's another request: have a desktop preview for the other displays (such as what Edge Desktop Pro provides)--this would be useful, for instance, when your secondary display isn't in the same room as your primary display (eg, when using TV-Out for video).

Thanks for your suggestions, will be considered for a future release.
Previewing a monitor is already supported (Windows 2000/XP only). Select Mirroring > Monitor Preview from the UltraMon menu, you can then select the monitor(s) you want to preview.

Thanks for the speedy response! Now that I've had a chance to check out your program a little more, I found the Preview option you were talking about.
Here's some other features I thought about while using it:
Provide buttons to quickly scale the preview itself to certain multiples of the previewed resolution (eg, maybe start the preview at 400x300 and have buttons to scale you to a full 800x600 or a quarter-screen at 200x150). I had the preview window crash several times while I was trying to resize it (by dragging the edge of the preview window).
Place the mouse in the opposite screen automatically if the user hovers the cursor over the preview window. I think this could be easy to do--if the mouse enters the preview box, reposition it to the other screen based on where it entered the box.
You know how you have the "lock cursor to primary monitor, 0 pixel margin" hotkey? This thing is awesome. However, one option I'd love to see would be keeping the cursor on either monitor as long as you don't try to push the monitor past about 20 pixels. It's tough getting used to 'missing' the minimize/maximize/close buttons in the upper right hand corner b/c we exceed the border. The hotkey fixes that, but it's a little worrisome to have to press the hotkey to go back and forth between the monitors when your hand is on the mouse. A small margin you can punch through would be optimal.

You're welcome, glad you like it!
Regarding the monitor preview crash: if possible, please send me the crash message you received (technical details, usually something like 'error x occurred at address x').
