To start - I am running win2k with a geforce 256 DDR(primary) and a Matrox Millenium II as the secondary video card.
All is fine when i boot the system. Thanks to ultramon I no longer have to go through the tedious display control panel to turn off the seconday to play games (and to go back in afterwards to re-enable AND align the monitors placement to my liking).
When I finish playing a game and re-enable the secondary monitor - my Hardware acceleration disappears from my primary card(I check it with dxdiag. Screensavers are obviosly using software rendering and its pathetic! This isnt the fault of ultramon, as it did it before I ever used it.
Anyone have any ideas? After one game the only way i can use my tv tuner card is to disable the secondary monitor- the acceleration comes right back..(but with none of the benefits of running dualheaded!) Im almost ready to call it a day with multi-monitors in windows..
The funny thing is - I dont remember having this problem when i ran a Matrox g400 (only used one "head") and the same Millenium II as the secondary..
Thanks for any ideas..

It is a bug in the Nvidia Win2000 drivers, I have the same problem here with Win2000, a TNT2 as primary and the 6.18 Nvidia drivers. I think the problem started with the 6.x drivers, and so far (7.17) they haven't fixed it...

Ugh.. Thats what i thought.. Because as I said previously I never had any problems with the Matrox G400 I was using previously.. Hmm.. to live with it, or get another matrox as my primary... that is the question! =)
Ultramon is great though!
