I've been noticing that when I've been playing some games full screen on the primary monitor (these all happen to be games based on the Unreal engine, don't know if it has anything to do with it), and I switch them to windowed mode, clicking a 'window button' on the SmartBar on another monitor does not show that window for the next 2 minutes or so (SmartBar doesn't look like you've clicked it either - the mouse cursor also acts weird, all in all it behaves like it's 'not responding').

After changing to windowed mode, is the game window partly on the second monitor?
When this happened on my system (also using Nvidia cards), the whole system became very slow.
I guess this is related to the multi-monitor OpenGL support of Nvidia cards. You'll have the same performance problem without UltraMon running.
Moving the game completely to the primary monitor fixed the problem.

No, the games still run in windowed mode on the primary monitor. It's also ONLY the SmartBars that have this. The normal taskbar works perfectly, as do all the other programs that I have running on my second monitor (usually MSN Messenger and WinAmp)

Unfortunately I can't reproduce this issue on my system (except for the general performance issue mentioned above).
One thing you could try is to increase the process priority for the taskbar. To do this, open the Task Manager, select the Processes tab, right-click on UltraMonTaskbar.exe and set priority to Normal.
To permanently change the process priority for the taskbar, change the 'Process Priority' value of the registry key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Smart Taskbar'. The following values are supported: 0 - Normal, 1 - Below Normal, 2 - Low.

I have this same problem, only i have it all the time. Often times just to get it working in a normal state i have to restart ultramon.
I just changed the priority and now it works wonderful.
thought people would like to know.
