Does anyone else actively look for apps that offer a QR code for download? I find it incredibly convenient, especially when I'm trying to install something on my phone from my computer. Instead of having to type out a long URL, I can just scan the code and be taken directly to the download page. It just makes the whole process so much smoother and faster. Why don't more apps offer this option? It seems like such a simple and effective solution.

You know, it's true! I love the QR code option, so simple. I was actually just reading this article that touches on that very subject! https://parivahansewass.co/why-app-download-pages-matter-more-than-most-users-realize/ It mentions how some apps even use QR codes to allow users to download from another device. The article really brings home the point about how important onboarding is and I agree, QR codes are an underutilized part of simple device compatibility options. I'm certainly more inclined to trust an app if the process seems smooth and technologically current.

One thing to consider is the accessibility of QR codes for all users. While convenient for many, those with older phones without built-in QR code scanners or individuals with visual impairments might find them less helpful. App developers should ensure there are alternative download methods available to accommodate all users.
