I can change the display settings around, but nothing allows me to use UltraMon correctly. The application only sees the monitors as one monitor. Any ideas?

See Dualhead cards and true multi-monitor support on Windows 2000 for more on this issue.

As far as I know ATI only has Windows 2000 drivers with true multi-monitor support for the Radeon 9xxx and later cards.
