Reading through the forums this just came to me...
How about an option to choose a default monitor for icons to appear on. Such as when you install a program instead of the icon appearing on the primary monitor it appears on the selected one. It would really help to keep my main monitor's desktop free since I have all my icons on the second monitor except for a few which I just use the "Save Icons Position" feature for.
