Hi, I am building a teleprompter and I'm using my second monitor as the mirror image so I can write my text in MSWord and then use auto scroll within word (a very smooth and speed controllable scroll). However, when my mirror is installed and activated, the mirror image appears as expected, but my system slows so much that the smooth scroll is rendered very choppy. I got a compatibility warning that says something about my driver loading sequence making the system unstable. Is that the source of my problem that I need to investigate further? Any suggestions? (Presario 2700 running XP Home) Thanks, Anthony

For best mirroring performance, make sure you are using the same resolution on both the mirror source and target monitors.
Performance depends heavily on the speed of your processor, with a slower system it's possible that you won't get acceptable performance. In this case you should use a hardware solution instead, either a VGA splitter or a dualhead video card (look for the clone mode feature).
