I've been thinking about setting up a "tab" on 9/16 screen's so that windows can be maximised and moved in "virtual desktop" spaces. My first idea for this cam from using the "tile virtilcally" command with only two windows open. This doesn't lend itself to productivity, but if any number of windows could be maximised to 1/2 or 3/4 of a screen at will and moved about freely, then on a wide format screen two aplications can be used at once. I've been using multiple monitors for many years now and all of my work habits revolve around having more than one program visable and usable at once. For those stuck with a singe screen this kind of modification could be a big help as screen's become wider than most single programs need. I think Ultramon should be able to make this layout without much trouble.

Thanks for the suggestion. See the following threads for more on this: Feature Request: Split display into 'multiple' monitors, Preset Window Size & Position Window Title Button.
