I'm evaluating Ultamon and so far am impressed. However being a developer myself and a particular interest in GUI development I've noticed 2 irregularities with the Smart Taskbar.
1) On a normal Windows XP taskbar there is a very slight dark shadow around the text of task tabs, making it easier on the eyes. On Smart Taskbar this is not present. Shouldn't be hard to implement.
2) Tooltips on the Smart Taskbar are located differently to on the Windows XP taskbar. WinXP always locates them above the taskbar. Smart Taskbar seems to locate them randomly but in the vicinity of the task tab. Again, won't be hard to fix.
Also a function suggestion:
A 'Show Desktop' function for each monitor. It can be annoying if you just want to see the desktop of one monitor and not them all.

Thanks for the feedback.
UltraMon currently doesn't support shaded task button text, support for this is planned for UltraMon 3. You can still use visual styles which use shaded text, but UltraMon taskbars won't draw the shadow.
I'll look into the tooltips issue for the next release, will be fixed if possible.
Per-monitor Show Desktop is planned for UltraMon 3.
