Should I disable nview if I use ultramon. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.

Shouldn't be necessary, but make sure you have the latest version of the Nvidia drivers, there were some compatibility issues with the 4x.xx drivers and early 5x.xx releases.
If you want to use both UltraMon and nView window buttons: go to UltraMon Options > Window Title Bar, then enter a value for custom button spacing, for example 50 pixels. This will move the UltraMon buttons to the left, making room for the nView buttons.
