Im currently using a laptop with a cracked screen. Im going to a relative's house for a month and cant take my desktop monitor. Ive been able to get the thing set up to use TV using ultramon, but when I restart or turnoff my computer, no matter what i do its set back to CRT when it comes back up. The settings HAVE to stay on TV, because I will have no way to see what Im doing to change them back to TV.

You could create a display profile with the desired settings, and set it to get applied automatically when you log in.
Please note that this will only work if the TV shows up as an additional monitor, and you'll need to log in blind because the display profile will get applied after you have logged in.
To create a display profile, select Display Profiles > New Display Profile from the UltraMon menu. On the last page of the wizard, check the 'apply this display profile when logging in' box.
