I was wondering if the following was POSSIBLE, number 1, and number 2, if it has been implemented/will be implemented anywhere (ie with any set of video cards):
could you have two seperate 2d/3d OpenGL complient video adapters, that could BOTH run hardware accelerated applications? -- EG you could drag quake3 between the two monitors (perhaps not having it run half on one and half on the other, but you get the idea).
Im wondering would the cards need to be the same, or could this be implemented with two different cards?
just curious as to what is out there.
thanks. David

This seems to be possible, see the 'Multimon OpenGL ICDs for Win2000' topic.
