This may have been asked before, if so I'm sorry for being blind. :)

Anyways, what I want to know is why can't you disable auto hide on the toolbar when you are running smarttask bar and remote desktop in full screen?

In this case there would be a smarttaskbar in the bottom of monitor 2. And then a remote desktop session is also runing on monitor. Autohide is not usually even turned on, but when you run remote desktop full screen, it turns on auto hide on the bar and then greys out the option to turn it off.

I would like to be able to either, disable the bar entirely (automaticly) while in a full screen remote desktop or have autohide on so that the bar stops coming up over the remote computers start bar.

UltraMon automatically switches the taskbar to autohide mode when a fullscreen application is running on the monitor.

To prevent the UltraMon taskbar from getting shown when you move the mouse to the edge with the taskbar, either uncheck 'Always on Top' or make the remote session an always on top window (can't be done via UltraMon though).

This behavior is not ideal when running applications like Remote Desktop or Virtual PC in fullscreen mode, I'm going to look into a better solution for UltraMon 3.

Why can't it be made to automatically switch to not always on top ?

I'm going to look into this for UltraMon 3, don't know yet if the taskbar will always drop to the bottom if a fullscreen application is open, or only for applications for which this is an issue, such as Remote Desktop and games.
