Does this program work well with Stardock's Windowblinds program? If not, does anyone know if it will in the future? Deciding on whether to purchase or not. thanks.

The additional taskbars won't match the look of the main taskbar, and the additional window buttons might not work, otherwise UltraMon should work fine with WindowBlinds.
I would still recommend testing it yourself though, you can download a 30-day trial version of UltraMon here.
With UltraMon 3, taskbars will most likely look correct with WindowBlinds skins, I haven't verified this yet though.

I would say that it's WindowBlinds that's at fault. The Ultrmon TaskBar's work fine with the built windows themeing. Unfortunatly I have given up on WindowBlinds and moved over to XpStyle purly because it uses Windows Built in theming and as such works properly at all DPI settings.

I just installed Windowblinds the other day and the only real issue I have noticed is with the ultramon smart taskbar, the theme I am using is a black taskbar with white text and on the second monitor it is the black taskbar with black text. Everything else seems to work OK though.. I am going to check out that XpStyle program and see how that works. Thanks for the head up.

I've had no troubles in using WindowBlinds v4.0-v4.6

Is there any way to change the color of the taskbar text when working with WindowBlinds? Everything else works, except the ultramon taskbar is black on black. This is the only thing keeping me from moving to ultramon.

I've also had the black text on 2nd screen issue with Windows Blinds.
If I have 2 different resolutions on the screen eg. 1024 x 768 on main screen and 1280 x 1024 on the 2nd screen, when I try and maximise on the 2nd screen, the window only expands to the 1024 x 768 resolution. Although I noticed this with Ultramon disabled as well, so I'm pretty sure it's a Windows Blinds problem.

UltraMon doesn't support setting a custom text color for the taskbar buttons.

I echo the need for Windows Blinds support on the Taskbar... It really sucks that you go to all this trouble to skin your system and the taskbar on your other monitor is illegible.
I pray for support in v3!

Just echoing what has already been said. Been using UltraMon (2.6) happily for several months now and just installed WindowBlinds (4.6) this afternoon. After changing my theme, it seems like the issue is that the additional taskbars on other monitors don't inherit the same style as the main start-menu/taskbar. Thus, the (default?) black text. Fortunately, mine isn't black-on-black, so I can still read the text, but I would still like to have the theme consistent.

Would it be possible to have a check box that makes the ultramon taskbar just use the windows 2000 style, instead of matching the color of the windows title bar. I know that it isn't ideal but it would be a workaround until 3 came out.

Currently I have no plans for this, 3.0 Beta 1 will most likely be the next release.
Please note that I don't know yet if the 3.0 taskbar will work correctly with WindowBlinds, I haven't tested this yet.
