Hi, I have the following setup:
Win XP Pro
Dual Xeon 2.2 Ghz (it's an IBM IntelliStation)
ATI FireGL 8800
2 17" Trinitron monitors
I have been having a lot of trouble getting XP to show 2 monitors in Display properties. It says "(Multiple Monitors) on ATI FireGL 8800" but there is only one display. I can get mirrored displays but not an extended desktop, there isn't even an option for it. I uninstalled the driver and went on to this board and found a post that said to use the DNA drivers, but I can't get XP to install the "Radeon 8800" driver like the instructions on that post said, and the DNA driver isn't installing without this. They actually were installed at one point (the Windows Radeon drivers), but that was before I saw that post and I had already reinstalled the ATI drivers. For some reason now Windows just won't install any drivers for this except the ATI ones, it won't find anything on its own.
I have no idea what to do now, can anyone help?
