I just bought a new Tecra M4 with the Toshiba advanced port replicator III.

The port replicator has a DVI & VGA out. I have 2 NEC flat panel monitors (LCD1860NX) but I cannot get both monitors to come on.

I have one hooked to the DVI port and the other hooked to the VGA port (this is exactly how I had it on my Dell laptop).

The monitor on the DVI port comes on, but the other one on the VGA port does not.

I can get the TabletPC monitor and the one monitor that's plugged into the DVI port to work, but I want the 2 external monitors to work while docked in the port replicator. The TabletPC monitor does not need tobe on.

Does UltraMon support this?
Do I need special cables?

UltraMon won't help with this, looks like the port replicator only supports a single monitor, either analog or digital.

Did you ever get this figured out? I have the same problem. The Replicator III manual says it can support both VGA & DVI but it depends on the machine docked. I just can't figure out if the M4 is one that supports it and if so how to get it to work.
