Hi, UltraMon community.
I recently purchased a new dual-monitor computer, installed UltraMon, installed JBuilder, and JBuilder would not run. I tried disabling the Windows Title Bar and Window Menu for JBuilderw.exe, but JBuilder still would not start.
If I turn off UltraMon, JBuilder starts up fine.
Once JBuilder is running, I can start up UltraMon and continue to use JBuilder without any problems.

If you are using UltraMon 2.6, make sure you have patch #3 installed.
I tested with UltraMon 2.6 and JBuilder 2006 on Windows XP SP2, but wasn't able to reproduce the issue, JBuilder started without problem when UltraMon was running.

I too am experiencing this problem. I am using JBuilder 2005 Enterprise (w/ update 4).
I am using Ultramon 2.7.1.0.
My symptoms and conclusion are the same: JBuilder will not startup if Ultramon is running. Closing Ultramon will allow JBuilder to start, and then once JBuilder is running, I can start Ultramon.
Not sure if hardware or drivers are a discerning factor, so let me know if you need that info too.

Please try if the problem goes away if you disable the following features:
- Options > General, uncheck 'enable moving of maximized windows using the mouse'
- Options > Smart Taskbar, uncheck 'use Smart Taskbar'
- Options > Window Title Bar, uncheck both 'add ... button' options
- Options > Window Menu, uncheck both 'add ... command' options
