I just tried it myself, and indeed SplitView works great with UltraMon if I use keyboard shortcuts / hotkeys for both apps.
However I find that the SplitView buttons << >> at the top of the window overwrite the two leftmost UltraMon icons so that using these buttons gets confusing with both apps active. It would be really nice if SplitView could place its buttons to the left of the UltraMon buttons (I've brought this request to the attention of SplitView) or if there was some other workaround until we get it all from a single applcation.

There is a simple built-in fix to SplitView:
Options > Window Buttons > Gap
Setting a 50 pixel gap places SplitView buttons just to left of the UltraMon buttons on my monitor. Beautiful.
