My wall paper disappears (solid color) when I restart or login to my computer. When I go to the wallpaper menu it shows the default wallpaper selected but it is not displayed. If I select none and then default the wallpaper will reappear. But at next login it is gone.

Installing the latest drivers for the video card might be worth a try, one user with the same problem reported that installing the latest drivers fixed the problem for him.

Dealing with jumping icons is the worst. Have you tried checking the 'save desktop icon positions' box in the specific profile settings? Sometimes it doesn't stick unless you manually save the profile after you've arranged everything exactly how you want it. That usually does the trick for me.

I had a similar issue where my secondary monitor kept reverting to a default color or failing to scale the image properly. One thing that helped me troubleshoot was using a dead-simple solid background first to see if UltraMon was even registering the change.
I used a clean hex file from https://solidbg.com/ just to test if the 'stuck' color was coming from the Windows theme or UltraMon's own profile. If a solid color from there sticks but your high-res wallpaper doesn't, it’s probably a resolution/scaling conflict in the UltraMon settings rather than a driver issue.
