On the 'Ignored Monitors' tab of 'UltraMon Options', I accidentally selected ignore this monitor (my secondary monitor). Now when I do Ctrl-Alt-Delete to lock the computer the secondary monitor goes dead and the only way I get it back is to 'Disable' then 'Enable' secondary monitors. Sometimes that doesn't even work and have to reboot to get the number 2 monitor to come back.
Don't think it is relevant but I recently added the VT Book for a third monitor (second external). The above issue never began though until I accidentally ignored second 'built-in' adapter monitor. Also the above behavior does not occur on the VT Book attached monitor. Only the external attached to the built-in notebook video port.
Help please. Thanks.

Update: So this does seem to only happen while the VT Book display is enabled.
The external notebook display shuts down as though I had use the Fn-F7 key to set internal display mode only for the ATI MOBILITY RADEON X300. Have to open Display Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> ATI Displays and re-enable the FPD.
Any ideas how to prevent this or easier way to restore?
Thanks,

Oh and this is with the 'Classic' login screen. Not the new fangled user switching login screen which is not available for domain members.

Does the problem go away if you no longer ignore the monitor?

I'm not ignoring the monitor.
I did once though accidentally, but the un-ignored it. That was just before I first noticed this issue. I have since found that the issue does in fact only occur when the VT Book display is enabled, and the external display attached to the notebookâs built-in ATI Mobility Radeon X300 is rotated either left or right 90 degrees. If rotated 0 or 180 degrees or if the VT Book display is disabled, the ATI attached display remains alive.
So the bad combination is: VT Book display enabled + ATI Mobility Radeon X300 attached external display rotated either left or right 90 degrees (90 or 270 degrees) + classic login screen.
And the okay combinations are: VT Book display disabled + ATI Mobility Radeon X300 attached external display rotated 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees + classic login screen.
- or -
VT Book display enabled + ATI Mobility Radeon X300 attached external display rotated either 0 or 180 degrees + classic login screen.

In this case the issue is most likely not related to UltraMon, sounds more like a video card driver issue.
The ignore monitors setting doesn't make any permanent changes and is only used by UltraMon, not by the system as a whole (Windows will still see all monitors).
To verify that the issue isn't related to UltraMon, check if you still have the problem after uninstalling UltraMon.
