Have a dual monitor setup with windows xp. My main monitor is displaying the Windows XP task bar. Whenever I have the ultramon taskbar displayed on my second monitor I get a couple of icons flashing up the going away in the upper right hand corner of my main display each time I click on an application in the windows task bar to restore it. The thing that flashes up looks like a little taskbar segment and displays (from left to right) the dot-dot-dot thing that allows the areas of the taskbar to be resized, a question mark in a white box and a little bar over a little arrow. It flashes up quickly each time I do the restore and then goes away.

This is the language bar, unfortunately I don't know why it would only get shown if UltraMon is running, haven't seen this myself.
One thing you could try: go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages > Details > Language Bar and uncheck the 'Show the Language bar on the desktop' option.
