Another quick suggestion:
I use monitors of differing sizes (20" and 17") and therefore have them set to different resolutions so that the overall size of objects on screen is relatively the same.
Ocassionally, when I move a window from the primary (20" - 1280x1024) to the secondary (17" - 1024x768), the window is too big and has to be manually resized on the secondary (which is typically a pain-in-the-butt operation that involves resizing from the upper left hand corner and then moving the window).
It would be cool if multimon's capability to switch a window from one screen to another included an optional capability to resize the window when switching.
I'd suggest a "Resize proportionally on switch" option, which would resize the window to the same relative size on the screen to which the window is moving (up or down), and a "Resize to fit" option, which would shrink the window as much as is necessary to make it fit on-screen when it's moved.

Multimon already does resize proportionally, except for windows that can't be resized, such as dialog boxes and property pages.
'Resize to Fit' is a good idea, the only problem I see is a user interface for it: you would have two key combinations for each move action, or CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+key combinations...

You're right -- it does resize proportionally, albeit with one minor problem: It ignores task/toolbars when it computes the resize. (Which is why I didn't realize it was doing it -- going from my big monitor, on which I have no taskbar to the small monitor, on which I do, the window ends up with a portion obscured by the taskbar.)
I wouldn't bother setting it up so that there are different hotkeys for each resize. Just make it an option so that the user can choose how the resize works when it actually happens.

Good point, I'll change this in beta 4. Support for resize to fit will also be added in beta 4, as a resize mode option, as suggested. Thanks for your input!
