Smart Taskbar is working great in Windows XP. I had one explorer.exe crash (my first ever in many months of testing XP) by taking a window and draging it back and forth between two monitors really fast a whole lot. (Call me Homer Simpson but I think it's so fun to watch the task bar items jump from one monitor to the next!)

There's a major look and feel difference between Smart Taskbar on my left monitor and the increadably slick Windows XP task bar on my right monitor.

Now unless there's an open API for building XP-style taskbars, I doubt Smart Taskbar could ever match the features and functionality of the XP-taskbar (items "fade in", multiple windows of one program "group" together, etc) - but I was wondering if it would be possible to at least copy the look - the soft curvy blue buttons on a blue background.

The goal is to match the Windows taskbar as closely as possible, both on Win2000/Win9x and WinXP. XP-style taskbar look is planned for Beta 6, other XP-specific features have not been scheduled yet.

Regarding the explorer crash: please test this again when update 2 is available.

Running XP here + UltraMon beta 5. Worked fine the first couple of days, but now I get constant Explorer.exe crashes, I just tracked it down to the smart-bar ( i guess ). I loved that feature, hope it gets more stable in the next version.
