The following problems have been fixed:
- Smart Taskbar crashes or hangs after starting a game or other application that changes the display resolution - Smart Taskbar uses too much CPU time when running CPU-intensive applications
Important: bug reports for previous Beta 5 versions will no longer be accepted, please update your UltraMon installation before reporting problems.
Installing the update:
Option 1: patching your existing Beta 5 installation
- for Win98/Me, download um20b5.2w9x.zip - for Win2000/XP, download um20b5.2w2k.zip - close UltraMon - extract the ZIP file into your UltraMon directory, usually C:\Program Files\UltraMon
Option 2: full install
- download UltraMon20b5.msi - uninstall your existing UltraMon installation - install the new MSI file

Great, the problem with Windows Commander solved... :))
BTW: Smartbar shows the IE icon in Internet Explorer download window and Windows Taskbar don't (if the download dialog appears on the appropriate monitor). When I move the download window from secondary monitor to primary and then back the icon just disappears.
BTW2: Could be possible to improve Standalone screen saver player with "Always on top" and "Hide application box on taskbar" options and set these options to "enabled" by default?

1) this is a Windows XP-style feature of the Smart Taskbar. The Windows taskbar in Win2000/Me/98 doesn't show an icon for standard dialog boxes
2) will be added

Been testing, the problem with the taskbar crashing is fixed, the taskbar no longer steals cpu usage, ICQ no longer steals cpu usage...but the issue of Explorer grabbing unusual levels of usage remains..normally whilst playing UT with the original beta5 build, explorer uses nothing whatsoever, but with the latest version it hovers around 10%...odd, but liveable :)
