Hello !

While pressing Windows-M for "minimize all", it only minimizes the windows on the primary screen.

What I really would like is a hotkey to minimize all windows on all screens, and one to (re-)maximize them again.

The reason for this is to find an icon on one of the screens.

Keep up the good work,

best regards

I would recommend using WIN+D (Show Desktop) instead, this works fine together with UltraMon.

The problem with WIN+M is that it only minimizes windows which are on the main taskbar.

you should consider catching win+m anyway, it does things the right way. you need to press win+d again to 'turn showing desktop off'. after 'show desktop', when i reactivate application on one display and than click on the desktop on another display that application is minimized again.

correction: it applies only if the application is activated from the ultramon taskbar. if you activate app from the original win taskbar the 'show desktop' state is turned off automaticly.

An earlier version of UltraMon did this, but the feature was dropped due to problems.

What I'm considering for UltraMon 3 is a replacement for WIN+M, for example in the form of an UltraMon hotkey which does the same thing.

is there a way to minimize all on the extended screen only? (so primary is unchanged but secondary's programs minimized)

thanks

Currently that's not supported, but support for this is planned for UltraMon 3.
