I have two machines with multiple monitors, and both of which are running Vista (different flavours completly) and both are running Ultramon 3 beta 1.
I have a few applications that are supposed to pop up baloon notifactions, and I've just realised I don't think I've ever seen one on Vista. Could Ultramon be breaking them? I will try turning off ultramon and seeing if the problem persists. Just wondering if this is a known issue.

Now it's broken again. I don't know whether this is Ultramon related or not :(

My guess would be that this is due to something else, but I wouldn't want to rule it out completely.
If there's a good way to reproduce the issue let me know and I'll give it a try myself.
