The only thing that's keeping me from going to Vista is missing of "Refresh" option on Ultramon taskbars. Is there any chance it will be back in 3.0 beta 2?
It's a very useful option, I don't see any reason why it has been thrown out?
Another suggestion. When multiple wallpapers are used on Vista, wallpaper image under taskbar is shown incorrectly, as it has been reported before. But, if you edit created huge wallpaper in Photoshop, you can paint some parts of the picture in black so under taskbars you won't see wrong wallpaper (because that parts, if wallpaper is edited properly, are going to be black), final effect will be like the taskbars are not transparent. Is it possible to put that feature as an option in 3.0 Beta 2? Now I have to edit those wallpapers manually, it would be very nice to have it as integrated solution, and I don't think it's much of a problem to write that small piece of code.

Refresh shouldn't be needed, if you have problems with duplicate task buttons etc please file a bug report so that the issue can be fixed. Known issues with duplicate task buttons etc have been fixed for Beta 2.
Thanks for your wallpaper suggestion, will be implemented for the next release. Please note that this won't fix the underlying problem, depending on your display configuration and wallpaper you will still get the wrong background under the taskbar(s).

I agree that bug reports should be filled, but there is usually very long time between releases, and "Refresh" solves the problem instantly.
There's no chance to have it back, even using the command line argument during Ultramon startup? ;)

There's no command-line argument for this, but you could use the RestartSmartTaskbar script to quickly restart the Smart Taskbar.
Currently I have no plans to add a refresh option, but if there are unfixable issues it's certainly something that would be added again for the final release.

I would also like to see the Refresh menu option added back to UltraMon 3. I operate on a daily basis using 2 accounts. I'm logged in under account 'a' and run applications using account 'b'. Applications which are running under account 'b' do not have their task bar items added to the smart taskbar. In 2.7 I used the refresh menu option on a regular basis, now that it's not there the only way to get my 'b' account task bar items to show is to restart the smart taskbar.

This will no longer be an issue with 3.0 Beta 2, the Smart Taskbar will correctly track tasks from processes running under different user accounts or elevated processes under Vista.
