If I want two different background images when using dual monitor (Win2k) I have to use Active Desktop.

But how do I change the background icon color (just under the icons, the text is written with white background right now) ?

The normal programs for doing this does not work with Active Desktop...

Go to Control Panel, open Display. On the Appearance tab, you can set the color for the desktop. The same color is used for the background of the icon text.

I have tried making the text background transparent, but this doesn't work properly.

This did not do the trick. In Active Desktop in Win2k it seems to have no effect.

However - in the HTML file that I use as a background, I added the <body bgcolor="black"> which worked :)

Strange as it was, when I added this line, Windows automatically changed the font color to white, so that I did not have back writing on black background. Don't know why - but it works :)
