Hi All,
Having an issue right now. A friend created a program to close ultramon upon using remote desktop into the machine. It then Relaunches Ultramon via psexec on that machine when remote desktop is closed.
The problem occurs when we relaunch ultramontaskbar.exe... Ultramon.exe works fine and it adds the icon with buttons. But Ultramontaskbar.exe launches for a split second, then closes itself. Any suggestions? We simply cannot launch the taskbar remotely.

UltraMon.exe starts UltraMonTaskbar.exe as well, most likely it's already running when you try to launch it, and will then exit immediately.

have you tried it? i load ultramon with psexec and ultramontaskbar doesnt automatically load (features are also unavailable). if i try to load ultramontaskbar it loads then closes.

I haven't tried this myself, maybe it's related to the user account under which UltraMon gets launched?
