Hi I am using Ultramon 2.6 I have two 20" LCD monitors. Without long description I have this problem:

This happens when sometimes (once a week or sometimes more often) when I click Show desktop icon. After this I always have to restart my computer. I updated graphic card drivers but it didnt help. Because it is happening longer time I spoted few things:
When this happens I always run Adobe Acrobat professional 7.09 and I think it was always extended manualy to both monitors...
Before this happens I click Show desktop and everything was minimized EXCEPT of Acrobat so I click Show desktop again and this mess jumps on...After I spotted this I tried to avoid this, so I minimized Acrobat manualy and then I tried to click Show desktop again and it was OK, but it jumped on later when I clicked Show desktop :(
acrobat.exe is involved in the No menu extensions for the folowing applications
Any Idea what can be wrong?

I haven't seen this myself so far, I would recommend disabling the video card software if installed (Nvidia nView Desktop Manager, ATI Hydravision), and installing the latest version of UltraMon (2.7.1 or the 3.0 beta).

Hi,
Thank you for replay, I installed UltraMon 2.7.1 and we will see if it helps...
Regarding graphics card driver: I have only the basic ATI driver installed no Hydravision or something like that
But thanks again and I will let you know if it helped.

At this time I can say that upgrade to latest UltraMon Version didnt help :( I spoted few more things maybe it will help maybe not...
1) This happens only when Acrobat is extended to both monitors
2) I am using total commander and before this happens, totalcmd starts to behave strangely. I can not rename files or folders and mostly TAB key for switching between the two panels does not work.
3) This maybe important...I have open Acrobat and for example two documents in it. Acrobat is extended to both monitors, one document on left monitor, the other on the right monitor. So normaly the left document should be shown on the left monitors toolbar and the other document on the right monitors toolbar, but it is exactly OPPOSITE
Sometimes it even shows other applications on wrong toolbar...
4) And last thing according which I 100% know that this will happen when I click Show desktop: When the focus is for example on the right document and I click on the right document it starts to show new item on the toolbar but it immediately disappears
I dont know it this description will help but this issue 100% regards to some incompatibility between ultramon and Acrobat 7

Regarding 4), does the problem not occur if you close UltraMon before clicking on Show Desktop?

Eh...sorry regarding 4) It should be: When the focus is for example on the RIGHT document and I click on the LEFT document...
I will try to make a screenshot of this, but it would have to be realy fast since this issue takes not even 1s

Does the problem go away if you close UltraMon before clicking on Show Desktop?
