I'm running Ultramon 3.0.2 and 2x applicationserver on the same PC and I'm having some problems.
2x application server (http://www.2x.com/applicationserver/) is a program that lets one display an application from a remote PC (Windows Server 2003) on the local PC as it if were running locally. It works via terminal services (RDP).
Almost everything seems to be working, except for the following, which looks to me as if Ultramon doesn't seem to know how to handle the 'remote' window.
See this image.
As you can see, there are a few problems:
1) Ultramon seems to think the window is on the right screen, not the left (see the taskbar and the mysterious floating ultramon buttons in the top right hand corner) 2) The window, when maximised, seems to be just a bit too wide; it spills a few pixels over onto the other screen.
Now 2) I guess I can live with but 1) is pretty annoying...
Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Thanks!

I'm trying to reproduce this issue, but if I have two monitors enabled on the client, I get the error message
Applications Server client does not support screen resolution large more than 1600 by 1200 pixels, switching to window mode.
This happens even though the primary monitor runs at 1280x800.
Do you know what I need to do to get the application running in a seamless window instead of a remote desktop window?

Yes, I had this same problem. You need to install RDP 6 for Windows XP
See http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=26F11F0C-0D18-4306-ABCF-D4F18C8F5DF9&displaylang=en.
Also I noticed it only happens if the monitor the actual 'Window' is on is not the monitor that is defined as the primary monitor.
Thanks for looking into it so quickly!

Thanks, that fixed the problem.
I've been able to reproduce issue 1 (taskbar issue only occurs if the app is maximized), I'll look into this for the next release but am not sure the issue can be fixed. As a workaround for the window button issue, you could disable the buttons for the application via UltraMon Options > Compatibility.
Issue 2 is a problem with 2X ApplicationServer.
