After using UltraMon for a while, I had to Reinstall my Vista (SP1). after installing some software that created some shortcuts on the desktop, I could not see the UltraMon customizable tabs when rightclick->properties.
I did have it before I had to reinstall Vista.
I've noticed that if I create the shortcut manually, it will be there; however it seems like not to function right.
I am trying to set one program to run on a secondary monitor which is disabled by default (I need it to enable it, and make it primary, until the program is being exit)
right now, with the manually set shortcut, the program is enabling the secondary display and setting it to primary, however nothing is running and therefore the ultramon does not recognize that the program is not running, and keeps the setting. (i wish there was a short-key option for switching primary displays)
any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

UltraMon can't customize some shortcuts, for example those from Office 2007.
Make sure the manually created shortcut works before configuring any UltraMon settings for it. Maybe the file name/path is wrong, or the application requires a command line argument.

Regarding switching the primary monitor: you could do this with the SwitchPrimary script, or ToggleSecondaryAndPrimary, which does exactly what you want to do.
