Configuration: Very stable win2k installation (crashed maybe three times in a year, used daily.) Dual P3-800 with 500meg ram and a Diamond Fire GL1 and a Diamond Fire GL2 as the video cards. Ultramon worked fine until I got the warning that the preview was going to expire. I uninstalled it and when I rebooted the machine was in 640x480x4bit on single monitor. Attempting to go into the display properties causes a blue screen "Driver Unloaded Without Canceling Pending Operations".

I've tried deleting the cards and letting windows reinstall them, I've tried installing newer drivers, I've tried going into recovery console to copy the vga.drv and vga.dll files off the CD (which windows thinks is the culprit for the blue screen) and I've tried reinstalling the service pack. I'm still stuck in this video mode on a single monitor and going into the display properties causes it to crash. Booting in VGA mode will allow me to go into the display properties and play with the drivers but it still crashes when I return to a normal boot mode.

Please help me out here! What changes does your software make that the uninstall may not have returned to normal?

Not sure what would cause this, UltraMon doesn't install any drivers, and on Win2000/XP it doesn't even modify any system registry settings. I would try reinstalling the video drivers.
