I have a AGP Viper 770 non ultra, and PCI S3 Virge DX 375. Dual Booting Windows 98 and Win2k. In Windows 2k , i learned you have to set PCI to be Initial Display in BIOS and change it to secondary in Windows 2000 for the use of AGP, Will I also have to do this for Windows 98 if i want to dodge BIOS setting everytime i Boot into Windows 98 or 2k? Also, if this is so, and for Windows 2000, where do i set what adapter is primary and what adapter is secondary.

In Win2000, go to Control Panel, open Display. On the Settings tab, select the monitor you want to use as primary and check the 'Use this device as the primary monitor' checkbox.

Win98 doesn't have this feature, if you want to use the AGP as primary, you'll have to change the BIOS setting before booting Win98, and change it again before booting back into Win2000.

Would it be easier just to find a non S3 Chipset Card for Win2k?
Thanks

Definitely. A Voodoo3 2000 PCI or some Matrox PCI card should work fine as secondary with both systems.
