Foren -> Multiple monitors -> cheapest multimon card?

I'm thinking about doing some major upgrades, including purchasing a geforce. This will require the aquisition of a new motherboard as well - thereby ditching my onboard video (my current setup is a V33k as primary, on board SIS as secondary)...of course I'll sell the v33k to some sucker on ebay <grin> and use the geforce as primary.

But: what is the cheapest multimon video card I can buy for my secondary monitor? No need keeping my v33k if I'm only going to use it for a secondary monitor.

thanks,
john

Why don't you keep the V3? I assume its PCI (Or the SIS is AGP or you don't have AGP at all).

Do you want to sell the V3 and buy a cheap PCI card for multimonitor? I don't think you get much back for that V3 with all those Geforces pulling everywhere :)

But if you insist: I think the cheapest way is to get a Matrox PCI card (not many problems with the when I search in the database). But depending on your second monitor you'd want at least 4MB memory (easy available 2nd hand) or maybe even 8 of 16MB and those are hard to get (or expensive new at Matrox: then you'd better heep the V3).
