My configuration is
AGP: Asus V-3800 deluxe (tv in/out)
PCI: S3 Virge (325)

I have come to terms with the PCI bios first thing (even though it is a big pain) but my Video Capture driver doesnt function AT ALL when the bios is set to PCI first, I cant win.

Why is this?
What can be done?

Have you tried setting the ASUS as primary in Win2000 display settings?

Yeah, I did do that.

I read somewhere that DirectDraw is only initialised on the primary card. Could this be causing the video in (dependant on direct draw) not to work properly?

I guess it's a driver limitation. I have a DV camera and a FireWire card, and video capturing with Windows Media Encoder or VidCap32 works great, on any monitor.
