I have a TNT2 and S3 Virge setup on my computer. the S3 is Primary in the BIOS but seconday when Windows starts up (both use drivers on CD). It works fine. My problem has to do with the color depth of the icons. When the secondary is enabled (S3) any program that is installed where icons are added or any icons of programs that are run are displayed in 16 color. If I disable the secondary install the program or rn anything then enable it the icon color depth is fine. I know its not a big problem but it is extremly annyoing and makes my desktop look a little poor in quality.

Have you tried deleting the file 'ShellIconCache' in your WINNT directory? This causes Windows to reload all icons. Don't know if it helps, but it's worth a try.

Yes I have, I have tried to have Windows rebuild all of the icons but it rebuilds them in 16 color if the second display is on. Its the oddest problem I have ever seen. I can't figure out why when the second one is on only the icons are setup in 16 color. The primary and the secondary are both setup as high color so I know its not that. I am guessing it might be something with the primary video driver and polling because it isn't setup as primary to boot. Thats all that comes to mind.
