These buttons get in the way of other functionality on the windows and I never use them. How do I remove them in the options? They are the ones pointed out in this link https://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/tour/windows.asp

You can disable the buttons under UltraMon Options > Buttons and Menu Commands.
You can also change the position of the buttons for specific applications, to do this go to UltraMon Options > Compatibility, then configure settings for the application and set the custom button spacing option.
