I have no buttons on my Chrome windows. I have tried to "use alternate method to display them" to no avail.
I am on Windows 10 64 bit

Which version of Chrome, UltraMon and Windows are you using?^
This works fine for me with Chrome 88.0.4324.96, UltraMon 3.4.1 and Windows 10 version 2004, no compatibility settings needed.
If you're using a custom theme for Chrome, you could also try if resetting to the default theme fixes the issue.
